And my first batch of soothing eye pillows.  These are filled with flax seed, lavender, dried peppermint, and some essential oils.  They smell FABULOUS and are great for relaxing.

I have three or four other fabrics to whip together.  Hopefully soon!

07/10/07 -Roses and Tweed…

Wanted to give you all a glimpse of what is in the mold today -  Tea Rose and Green Tweed.  The Tea Rose is a fabulous rose scent.  Even Earl had to stop and smell it and immediately said “That rose scent is WONDERFUL!”  (You don’t often hear that from a man about a rose fragrance!)  The Green Tweed (which may get a name change before it is available for purchase) is a great men’s scent.  LOVE IT!

I received my card labels today and had to test out my new packaging.  Simple, clean, but nice looking - don’t you think?

That’s all for now!

07/07/07 -Friday’s Soaps

Here’s a peek at the soaps we made yesterday and just cut this morning.

This is Lilac or White Lilac, I’m undecided on the name!  I’m trying a different method for coloring and I think these bars turned out very neat looking!

This batch is called Herbal Citrus Sorbet.  The very light color is from using just a touch of spirulina powder and the specks are actually sea kelp!  I think the name matches the appearance perfectly.

The color on this picture is kind of off because of being taken under flourescent lights.  This is the latest baby soap - colored with carrots!  As with all of the baby soaps, it has no fragrance added.

Today there is a debate over what soaps to make.  Tea Rose?  Muscadine Wine?  Oatmeal, Buttermilk & Honey?  Satsuma Guava?  Green Irish Tweed?  We can’t decide!?

Have you had your soap today?
